Ashland Elementary STEAM Center
The AEFI has pleased to announce our next Innovation Campaign - the Ashland Elementary STEAM Center. This amazing project will leverage much of the learnings & success of the AIC while ensuring it is fully age-appropriate & right-sized for our elementary students. Its primary focus is to ensure that our younger students are getting regular access to many of the same STEAM tools & technologies that we have seen produce such great results at the AIC. In addition to that, this campaign also includes elements & technologies specifically targeting our ELL students as well as our students with disabilities to ensure our entire student population has the needed tools to reach their full potential. For full details on the program, please visit our STEAM Center page.
Ashland Innovation Center
The AEFI has helped to fund and implement a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) lab for the town of Ashland which will be located at the Ashland High School, and will be called the Ashland Innovation Center (AIC). Having access to this new technology and equipment will provide students at the Ashland High School and throughout the district an unprecedented opportunity to integrate 21st Century technology tools that will help our students now & moving forward.
AEFI is pleased to announce that we have completed funding for this project! With help from the Ashland community and our generous corporate sponsors, we have the AIC at full functionality for the start of the 2018-19 school year. For full details on the program, please visit our AIC page.
